The Spaghetti Tour is a multi-day high-altitude traverse linking the classic 4000 m peaks of the Monte Rosa range, straddling the border between Switzerland and Italy.
It’s a rewarding and aesthetic journey that combines glacier travel, moderate alpine climbing, and comfortable stays in a series of welcoming Italian huts known for their warm food and espresso — hence the name “Spaghetti Tour.”

Typical Itinerary
Day 1 – Approach the Monte Rosa Huts
Meet and prepare in Gressoney or Alagna. Cable car to Punta Indren and short glacier approach to Gnifetti Hut (3647 m). Acclimatization climb optional.
Day 2–4 – The Spaghetti Traverse
Climb several 4000 m summits each day, traversing elegant ridges and glaciers between huts such as Mantova, Gnifetti, and Margherita Hut (4554 m).
Nights spent in high-altitude huts with classic Italian dinners and breathtaking sunsets.
Day 5 – Descent
Return to the valley via glacier descent or cable car, celebrating multiple 4000 m summits in one unforgettable week.
